y central Cheltenham based client (with ample car parking ) is looking to recruit a Management Accountant for this head office Shared Service Centre . Working closely alongside the Senior Management Accountant your duties will include :

The Role

· Processing month end journals and closing the ledgers in line with existing timetable

· Production, analysis and delivery of monthly management accounts for all group entities

· Variance analysis on both P&L and Balance Sheet

· Balance Sheet reconciliations

· Responsible for the preparation and submission of the groups annual and monthly tax returns (VAT, CIS)

· Support the treasury team by providing accurate and timely loan facility and utilisation reports for the group lenders

· Continuous development of journals, systems and processes to streamline the monthly close process

· Support the year end audit process, answering audit queries and preparing supporting schedules as required

· Work closely with the Group and Regional FP&A teams to support their needs

· Review and develop finance policies and procedures and ensure they are being complied with

· Keep adequate records which comply with statutory and external audit requirements

Requirements

· Part-qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA as a minimum.

Experience

· Experience in a Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant role, covering both P&L and Balance Sheet

Description

An opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Shared Services team as a Management Accountant. The aim of this role is to provide quality service and support to the business as part of the Management Accounting team. This role will be an ideal step for somebody who is part-qualified and needs support to gain full qualification, or for an Assistant Management Accountant looking to step up.

The role’s key focus will be the production, review and delivery of the monthly management reporting to various stakeholders within the business.

The Role
