The Role:

This role supports the day-to-day operations team in manufacturing a wide variety of products to support a busy fast paced low batch high mix manufacturing capability within the aerospace interiors spares business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Outside process vendor orderbook management
  • Oversee and manage OSP orders coming into and out of the business via accurate reporting.
  • Facilitate order book reviews with Vendor base.
  • Monitor lead time accuracy by vendor is aligned to WO/SO demand.
  • Review Vendor price book to ensure vendor invoice accuracy is maintained.
  • Supplier billing/invoice resolution
  • Enable kits for external process are picked within vendor lead time.
  • Weekly OSP order book management reviews
  • Expediting requests for OSP vendor base
  • Develop vendor service tracking mechanisms and metrics to improve inventory efficiencies.
  • Analyse data and identify trends to continually improve process.
  • Encourage, support and lead a continuous improvement mindset within the Operations planning team
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all Ethics, Compliance, Health & Safety and Quality protocols
  • Creating and processing purchase orders
  • Timely quote management
  • Focal for OSP quality assurance
  • Works collaboratively with Operations planning and manufacturing leadership
  • On time delivery, arrears management performance are key objectives in this role

Basic Qualification:

  • Related experience in supply chain or planning environment or manufacturing background
  • Must have proficient computer skills including ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
  • Must have demonstrated strong business development and strategic planning skills
  • Solid understanding of statistics and financial analysis
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to apply quantitative and qualitative thinking to problems
  • Demonstrates ability to handle a variety of tasks and multiple priorities
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
