Title: Mechanic - IND1 Salary: - £35,000/pa Hours: 40 hours per week, to be worked Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm Area: Petersfield Reporting directly to Maintenance Manager About TXM Recruit are partnered with a multi-purpose company based in Petersfield with the on-boarding of a skilled Mechanic on a full-time permanent basis to support the safe, efficient and effective operations of the Yard and Workshop. This varied role would suit experienced Mechanic who is keen to expand their knowledge and develop in their career. Duties

  • Routine service, maintenance and repairs of our fleet and plant vehicles
  • Conducting vehicle/plant services and inspections, repairing/replacing damaged/worn parts
  • Attend breakdowns across south-central England, diagnosing and repairing faults
  • Maintain the inventory of equipment and machinery
  • Receive and book-in deliveries of equipment/tools
Qualification C&G or NVQ (or equivalent) required. Experience The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, hold qualification/s in mechanics and have a full driving licence. Experience of working with hydraulics, auto electrics or of plant maintenance would be advantageous however you will be offered training on this.
