Founded over 30 years ago, The Rooflight Co is a successful, employee-owned business with approximately 50 employees, designing and manufacturing rooflights and roof windows for the UK construction / specification market.

As Procurement Administrator you will be responsible for building meaningful and professional relationships with our suppliers, accurate data input and continual improvement activities. Reporting into the Procurement Specialist as part of the Resilient, Agile and Focused Operations Team, you will have the opportunity to work with all areas of the business where no two days are the same. Achieve best price, quality and availability for indirect materials
~ Liaise with suppliers and other departments by phone/e-mail to ensure alignment and support for procurement activities

 
Accurate data input and monitoring
· Ensure the ERP system is updated with confirmed delivery dates
Processing Procurement credit card expenses
· Engage in continuous improvement practises to enhance procurement processes and identify opportunities for cost savings
· Engage in continuous improvement activities focused on improving the customer experience aligned to our brand
~ Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures

 
Previous work in a Procurement team, ideally within manufacturing
· Good knowledge of purchasing and commercial understanding of other business area functions
· Confident telephone manner
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word and Excel
