Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis :
    • Conduct thorough assessments, including interviews, observations, and reviews of medical history.
    • Accurately diagnose health conditions based on clinical evaluation.
  • Treatment Planning and Delivery :
    • Develop personalized care plans for patients.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust care as needed.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork :
  • Work closely with doctors, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide patient education and advice on health management.
  • Shift Work and Busy Workload :
  • Nurses often work in shifts and handle a busy workload.
  • Much of their time is spent directly with patients, monitoring their health, and providing care.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Nursing Degree : Completion of a nursing degree course.
  • Application Criteria : Typically requires at least two A levels or equivalent qualifications, with one in a science subject.
  • Passion for Healthcare : Nurses play a vital role in healthcare facilities, ensuring the best quality of care for patients regardless of their disabilities or illnesses.
