Job Description

Your challenge:

At GHX, our mission is to reduce the cost of doing business in healthcare by enabling better supply chain management. Through our suite of supply chain software solutions, we make it easier for hospitals, healthcare providers and suppliers to drive cost and inefficiency out of their processes. We have plans to grow our business further and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Product Development team.

Your role:

Your role will be to ensure GHX software is implemented and runs according to designed functionality. The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing and modifying automated tests, ensuring the correct functioning of GHX software, as well as ensuring that GHX test standards and procedures are followed. The role liaises closely with the team of software engineers, acting as the quality champion. This role has a direct impact on the GHX Customer Experience, by allowing a smooth software product implementation and functioning for GHX customers.

Your profile:

Above everything, you will have the desire to succeed and demonstrate the enthusiasm and energy to inspire and influence those around you. Continuous learning will be part of the experience with us so we don’t expect you to arrive knowing everything, but the following competencies will enable you to be successful in this role:

  • Up to 2 years’ experience of commercial software development
  • Proven ability to provide test coverage of APIs and User Interfaces in a fully automated manner
  • Technical Requirements: Knowledge of a programming language such as Java/Javascript
  • Experience of working in an agile environment and comfortable working in short iterations with frequent releases
  • Experience of agile test methods and technologies and continuous integration/deployment services
  • Experience of working with remote teams
