Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Newport, UK is currently seeking applicants for a Semiconductor Process Design and Integration Engineer for our Silicon Carbide development.

In this role you will work with the Engineering and Production team members to develop advanced epitaxial processes solutions for the power devices.

Develop SiC epi layers to meet the requirements of production device line.
Using DOE technique to design and conduct experiments to improve epi layers and device performance.
Provide process suggestions to the Team for the improvement of the product (process performance, reliability, and other criteria).
Master/PhD degree in materials science, physics, chemical engineering, or electrical engineering.
~5+ years in the semiconductor process & manufacturing industry.
~ Knowledge and hands-on experience with Chemical Vapor Deposition Equipment for the development of epitaxial films for the semiconductor device manufacturing. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the growth and characterization of Si, SiC, GaN epitaxial films is desirable.
~ Ability to characterize the epitaxial layers for their physical and electrical properties (using: Knowledge on semiconductor devices & processes in correlation with epi quality.
~ Ability to deploy the film requirements of device line to develop epitaxial solutions to meet HVM expectations.
~ Self-motivated, results-oriented with high commitment to quality.
