We are looking for a Purification Scientist to join our peptide production site.
Role and Responsibilities
- Reverse-Phase HPLC purification of peptides and peptidomimetics (mg to g scale)
- Basic equipment maintenance (Agilent) and liaising with service engineers.
- Mass spectrometry analysis
- Column testing and maintenance
- Troubleshooting and ability to embrace challenging purifications.
Must be able to handle several projects and multi-task, ensure prioritization and timely execution of the projects. Should be enthusiastic, analytically minded, very organized, detail orientated and have excellent communication skills. This is not a research position; it is a fast-paced manufacturing role.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is essential
- MSc or BSc in chemistry or analytical chemistry is required
- Prior experience in HPLC analysis/purification and Mass Spectrometry essential
- Good knowledge of key analytical and purification techniques – scientific curiosity and drive
