Panel Wirer

Newgate Ltd based in Newark was established in 1984 and has built an outstanding reputation for providing quality bespoke security solutions including gates, barriers, road blockers and access control systems. We provide an end-to-end service to our customers - with the capability to design, fabricate, install, service and repair equipment throughout the UK. We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Panel Wirer to work as part of our production team on a full time basis. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 07:45 - 16:30, (with a 14:30 finish on a Friday). Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be working as part of the Assembly Team, using wiring drawings to quickly and accurately wire panels for the Company's range of products (barriers and gates) The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, on tasks such as:

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics / drawings
• 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Installation Wiring Qualification
• Proven panel wiring experience
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy
• Good communication skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision and use initiative to resolve problems
• Able to work to specific deadlines and cope well under pressure
• Be neat and methodical in their work
• An understanding of the health and safety legislation
• Basic computer knowledge
• Flexible to work overtime/weekends
