Job Title: Learning Mentor with Driving Responsibilities**

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and autism? TeacherActive is currently seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to join our team in Plymouth. This role involves driving responsibilities to support children in various settings. **Role and Responsibilities:**
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to children with SEMH and autism.
  • Implementing tailored intervention strategies to promote social and emotional well-being.
  • Assisting with the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.
  • Transporting children to and from appointments or activities as required.
**Requirements:**
  • Previous experience working with children with SEMH and autism.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
