Job Description

Albany Beck are hiring for a Demand Manager to work on a long term programme of work with a globally recognised Insurance firm. As a leader in the sector, they are committed to delivering unparalleled services to their clients across the globe.

Position Overview:

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the alignment of business needs with IT services and resources. You will be responsible for managing the demand for IT services, facilitating communication between business stakeholders and IT teams, and optimizing resource allocation to meet strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and prioritize IT service requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a demand management process to effectively capture, evaluate, and prioritize demand for IT services.
  • Work closely with IT teams to assess resource availability and capacity, and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Monitor and analyse demand trends, resource utilization, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of IT service delivery.
  • Communicate with business stakeholders on a regular basis to provide updates on demand status, resource allocation, and service delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams to facilitate the resolution of issues and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in demand management and IT service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in demand management, IT service management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry is a plus.
