Our IT Support Services client is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer on a Fixed Term Contract. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will address and resolve a wide range of hardware, software and network-related issues, to ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
The role is a 2-year fixed-term contract

Deploy and configure infrastructure components, including servers, networking devices, storage systems, and virtualisation platforms, following best practices and industry standards
Monitor infrastructure performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems to minimise downtime and optimise system performance. Implement monitoring tools and alerts to proactively identify potential issues.
VMWare vSphere and Horizon VDI, Microsoft AD, Azure, M365, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Networking (LAN, WAN incl VPNs and Wifi), firewalls, Sharepoint, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, SfB/Teams telephony, SAN technologies, Veeam, SQL server management tools

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field would be desirable
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networking, storage, and virtualisation technologies
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are desirable but not essential
