Senior Pharmacy Technician - Specialist (Dispensary) Band 5 (Permanent)

Would you like to be part of a dynamic and innovative team that strives to provide the highest quality of patient care? We are looking for highly motivated individual to join our busy, friendly pharmacy department at Croydon University Hospital.
To provide support to the Pharmacy Teams in the Dispensary.
You will take part in audit activities, staff Training (PS Course) and in QI projects.
You will also be required to co-ordinate work flow in the dispensary and take a lead role where necessary.
You will assist in ACPT checking and in the training and development of staff you line manage.
You will also be responsible for understanding, developing and scheduling plans and assist in writing procedures. Croydon University Hospital strives to be the hospital of choice for the local population and is seeking to achieve Acute Hospital NHS foundation Trust status in the very near future.
Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPHC
Significant relevant pharmaceutical experience
JAC & Audit/ Quality Improvement Project
Significant and proven post qualification experience in hospital pharmacy
Education and Training of Pharmacy Staff
Knowledge of JAC computer system
Knowledge of regulations, legislations and GPhC standards of practice for pharmacy professionals
Good computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Excel / Word & Powerpoint
Involvement in project work including audit analysis / drug ordering patterns and stock issue problems
