Theatre Practitioner (Scrub, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery)
At Imperial we run theatres across five sites. We are looking to recruit into multiple anaesthetic, scrub, recovery and theatre practitioner roles.
Join our multidisciplinary team of skilled and motivated staff who provide a high quality care to our patients. We are committed to your professional development and will provide you with a range of education, in-house training and one to one coaching co-ordinated by a dedicated practice development team.
We are proud to work in theatres where we have pioneered cutting edge surgical techniques using medical technology like the Da Vinci robotic programme. We are renowned for being the UK's leading centre for bariatric surgery and cardiac surgery. Our head and neck surgery is recognised as world-class. St Mary's Hospital is one of only four major trauma centres in London and widely respected as a UK top performer. Neurosurgery, ENT, Breast surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology and renal, General, Cardiac, Gynaecology, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics and Hepatobillary.
As a Theatre Practitioner (Nurse or ODP) your role will be in Scrub and/or Anaesthetics and/or Recovery, delivering a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence-based practice. This post is suitable for students who are due to qualify this year who will hold a relevant qualification.
Current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professionals Council registration (HCPC)
Commitment to undertake an appropriate course of study
To have knowledge and understanding of all surgical specialities within the operating department
Evidence of continuing professional development.
