We are currently seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team in Preston. This role involves trunking, multi-drop deliveries, and collections , ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure all loads are secure and comply with safety regulations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Adhere to all driving laws and regulations, including tachograph and WTD rules.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and delivery documentation.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.
  • Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Minimum 1-year experience driving Class 1 vehicles (preferred but not essential; we welcome applications from new drivers).
  • Strong knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary with the opportunity for overtime and bonuses. Ranging from £14.50 up to £22.00 depending on either day or nights these are rates up to 40 hours with increases after.
