Peaple Talent have partnered with a market leading retail/ecommerce organisation who are recruiting for two VB.NET Developers to join their dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VB.NET and C# development and have a passion for creating high-quality software solutions. As a VB.NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services that power their ecommerce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using VB.NET and C#
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
• Implement front-end functionality using JavaScript, jQuery, and other relevant technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve technical problems.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with C#, LINQ, and WebForms.
• Knowledge of .NET Core and RESTful web services.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Qualifications:
• Proficiency in .NET and ASP.NET.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience working with SQL Server databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
