We are working with an established diagnostic and research support company seeking a proactive and passionate R&D Manager to join their Research & Development team based in Cambridge. As the R&D Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and guiding the team through new product development projects, process improvements, and customer support functions.


Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Maintain accurate documentation and lab records.
Manage project scopes, resources, and budgets effectively.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a biological-related discipline, with significant post-qualification experience.
Extensive experience in molecular biology techniques such as FISH, PCR, DNA manipulation, and fluorescent labelling.
Strong project management skills.


Familiarity with DNA analysis software tools such as BLAST/BLAT and sequence searching methods.
Comprehensive knowledge of genomic principles and databases.
