A Music Teacher is required as soon as possible at a school in Burton on Trent for a 2-week paternity cover. Your Role: To apply for this position, you will require experience in teaching in the UK and be able to deliver lessons in line with the current National Curriculum. Essentially you must also be comfortable delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching. Applicants for this position of Music Teacher will initially be screened over the telephone to assess suitability and then be invited for an interview with the agency prior to the interview with the school. Your Role:

  • Teach engaging music lessons aligned with current National Curriculum, adapting to different classroom settings
  • As a Music Teacher, some planning and marking will be required
  • Ensure lessons align with curriculum goals & support student growth
  • Build strong relationships with students & school staff to foster a positive learning environment
  • Daily rate of pay commensurate with responsibilities and experience.
Your Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Applicants need the right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience in high school education as a Music Teacher
  • Up-to-date DBS check or availability to complete one
  • Provide two referees
