The EMEA Event Productions team is seeking amulti-disciplinary video editor who’s primary focus will be todesign, edit and audit visually compelling video content for ourcustomers. A successful candidate will be an effective communicatorthat can handle multiple projects from beginning to end, undertight and evolving deadlines. They can work independently withlittle supervision and collaborate with internal teams to raise thebar with each project. Our editors work in a production capacitywhen needed so being able to operate a camera or some productionlighting know-how or other on-set skills arepreferred.
Key jobresponsibilities
- Media management - downloading anduploading of files in an organised manner.
- Edit andassemble raw video footage into polished, visually compelling videoproductions.
- Delivering quality video contentconsistently while adhering to deadlines.
- Maintainingcoherent communication between your team, Program Managers andcustomer.
- Using metrics to make data-based decisions tooptimize video production
- Builds and maintains strongrelationships with partner groups and stakeholders
- Akeen eye, attention to detail, and artisticability
A day in the life
APost-Production Engineer within the Event Productions team can workon a variety of edit styles, ranging from, but not limited to;short news bulletins, presentations and studio interviews toon-campus or off-campus event highlight videos. Working with a widerange of internal Amazon teams helping them create content thatfulfils and surpasses their initial ideas. As well as deliveringquality edits on a consistent basis, you will be encouraged toraise the bar for both the customer and yourpeers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Industryexperience in video editing in a deadline-driven mediaenvironment.- Industry experience in video/postproduction at a creative agency, or studio.
- Strongknowledge and experience with video editing software includingAdobe Suite, DaVinci Resolve.
- Demonstrated track recordof producing content for top brands and/or corporatecustomers.
- Experience with transfer protocols, anddigital asset management.
- A solid understanding ofvideo transcoding and video codecs.
- Familiarity withindustry best practices and emerging technologies.
-Excellent written and verbal communicationskills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor's degree in film, media, production, marketing orequivalent work experience.- Familiarity withZiflow/Frameio or similar products.
- Ability to adjustwork schedule to business needs.
- Proficiency with MacOSand WindowsOS, Microsoft Outlook and MS OfficeSuite.
