Technisch Architect

Sapiens UK is urgently seeking a Functional Architect to provide end to end support to R&D and project initiatives. If you have more than 5 years of experience working as a Functional Architect in a life insurance/pensions systems environment, this could be the next great step in your career.
An understanding of policy administration systems is key to the success of this role as you will be designing enhancements and creating solutions within our highly sought-after Life & Pensions (L&P) system.

Working Model: Remote (within UK)
Please note that there is no Visa Sponsorship/Relocation support for this role.

Support the design of project End to End solutions ensuring all project stream solutions are in line with the overall solution.
Write end to end solutions for specific policy administration system enhancements.
Engage with Lead BA/PD/PM on project Actions, Assumptions, Risks, Issues, Decisions, Constraints.
Support Development throughout the build phase of projects.
Review the Test Scripts and support testing throughout the test phase.
Help to define acceptance criteria and high-level estimates.
Provide clients with functional analysis and design advice guidance and consultancy in Sapiens’ solution throughout the project.
Participate in Peer Review activities, interacting with Business Analysts, to ensure quality and completeness of requirement and design work.
Configure/Support the configuration of the parameters that determine the functionality specified in the design documentation.
Support training sessions on the system and its product sets.

5+ years of experience working as a functional architect in life and/or pensions and/or Annuity systems environment.
~ Proven experience as a functional architect in integration projects, including policy administration system and integration platform s .
~ Be able to demonstrate an in- depth of knowledge of life and pension products and processes.
~ Experience in database-based systems.
~ Fluent English – both writing and verbal .
~ Knowledge of SQL and Excel, experience with other programming languages desirable .


Previous experience working with a Life or Pensions policy administration system, digital platform, and business intelligence – Advantage.
Experience in collaborative and agile working methods – Advantage.
BSc in Computer Science, information systems engineering, or similar – Advantage.
Other European languages - An advantage.
