Job Title: Animal Handlers
Our Clients Animal Sanctuary is a haven for horses, cows, pigs and even Emus amongst various other animals. Located in Frettenham, the sanctuary is dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for animals in need. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join the team as Animal Handlers.
As an Animal Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of diverse animal residents. If you have a genuine love for animals and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives, this position is perfect for you. Your responsibilities will include feeding, grooming, cleaning, and providing compassionate care to the animals.
Feed and water animals according to their dietary requirements.
Maintain clean and safe living conditions for all animals.
Provide daily care, grooming, and socialisation to ensure the animals' well-being.
Monitor animal health and report any concerns to the sanctuary manager.
Assist with veterinary appointments and medication administration.
Help with general maintenance tasks around the sanctuary as needed.
Passion for animals and a strong commitment to their welfare.
Previous experience working with animals is a plus but not required.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry animal feed and supplies.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
