Job Title: Site Services Lead Engineer
Contract: Permanent
My client is a long-established food manufacturing business with several sites across the UK, home to over 1,000 employees who share a passion for great products. Combining traditional techniques and cutting-edge technology, they’re always looking forward to create something new.
This site is the heart of just one of their major brands, where thousands of tonnes of products are created every year.
You will be a key player in the site operational team, ensuring optimum critical asset availability. Boiler maintenance and function testing
* Ensure all legislation is met with strict management of compliance such as PSSR, LOLER and site critical PPMS (legionella).
* Daily effluent management to ensure emissions are within consent allowances through regular checks, adjustments, and water analysis.
* Water network compliance and integrity. Carry out Electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repairs.
* Provide cover to Engineering Shift Teams as and when required, holidays/sickness/training courses.
* Support the Engineering Shift Teams in production breakdown repairs to FMCG machinery within the production area as and when instructed.
* Weekly chemical stocktakes and re-order completion.
* Contractor control. Managing and completing the sites Electricity, Gas and water usage.
* Overall responsibility in the Services Department - this is to include Boilers, Compressors, and Effluent plant.
* Responsibility and management of the Engineering Services team such as planning workload priorities as well as managing the 5S strategy.
Relevant Engineering qualification ‘with’ apprenticeship (HNC, C&G, BTEC).
* Must have or be willing to receive training towards Boiler Fundamentals onto BOAS.
* Electrical skills/understanding.
* Knowledge off Microsoft office such as Excel, word, PowerPoint.
