We are currently working alongside a law firm based in Reading, they are seeking for a skilled and dedicated Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly respected firm that offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Role Overview:

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload, providing clients with expert advice and guidance on matters such as:

  • Will drafting and Powers of Attorney
  • Estate Administration and Probate
  • Trusts and Tax Planning
  • Inheritance Disputes and Claims
  • Elderly Client and Vulnerable Client services
  • Business development and maintaining client relationships

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from inception to completion
  • Drafting Wills, advising on Powers of Attorney, and providing estate planning advice
  • Assisting with probate, inheritance tax planning, and the administration of estates
  • Handling disputes related to inheritance or estate administration
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, other professionals, and stakeholders

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in Private Client law
  • Proficient knowledge of Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Estate Administration
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional client service
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and independently
  • STEP qualification or willingness to work towards it is desirable, but not essential
  • A passion for client care and business development
