Law firm in Leeds, listed in the directories for the work it does in property law is seeking to recruit two Commercial Property lawyers – one of 0 to 2 years’ PQE and the other of 3 or more years’ PQE.

The teams’ clients include developers, corporate occupiers with multi-site holdings, property investors and investment funds.

Areas of work which the department covers include:

  1. Land acquisitions (including options and conditional contracts)
  2. Property investment acquisitions and disposals (acting for both buyers and sellers)
  3. Acting for landlords and tenants in connection with the grant of business leases
  4. Retail, leisure, and healthcare development work (excluding construction)
  5. General management work which includes dealing with surrenders, licences, easements, rent reviews, lease renewals, and property finance

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of smaller matters under an appropriate level of Partner supervision (depending on your PQE) and, in addition, you will assist the wider team on larger, higher value, more complex matters. You will also be expected to participate in the marketing and business development activities of the department.
