Prep Technician / MOT Tester
Salary: up to £35,000 basic per annum, plus bonus
Hours: full time
Ref: OC19187 We are currently recruiting for a Prep Technician / MOT Tester for our client in the Teesside area. This role will include all levels of technical works but predominantly general servicing, and pre-delivery inspections. As a Prep Technician / MOT Tester, you must be able to complete work to dealer standards, adhere to manufacturer procedures and processes, become part of a team, and mainly bring high attention to detail. 34 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) increasing with length of service.

Prep Technician / MOT Tester duties:
* You'll be working alongside an experienced Vehicle Technician and learn to perform vehicle service maintenance and repair.
* You'll be performing safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.
* Carrying out MOT tests to the highest of standards, ensuring accuracy and safety
* Attends training classes and departmental meetings.
* Prep Technician / MOT Tester requirements:
* The desire to be a Vehicle Technician, possibly have your NVQ Level 1 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Relevant MOT testing qualification
* Driving licence is required when fully qualified, therefore you should be in the process of getting your licence.
