I am currently representing a Top 200 Law firm based in South Manchester. The firm specialises in all areas of personal injury including Public Liability, Occupier’s Liability, Road Traffic Accidents, Employer’s Liability, Industrial Disease, Serious Injuries and Clinical Negligence. My client is an accredited Solicitors and are a Legal 500 Leading Firm for both Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, the Firm is thriving and expect to grow even further in the industry within the coming years. They are currently recruiting for a Costs Draftsperson to join the well established and ever-growing team. The role will consist of Drafting a wide range of Bills of Costs including Clinical Negligence, Serious Injury, Road Traffic Accident and Industrial Disease. The candidate will also have opportunity to work on Budgets, N260s and Matters relating to provisional and detailed assessment. Offering a wide variety of work load we can ensure the role will stay interesting and offers excellent career progression. An ideal candidate will also have the opportunity to broaden their workload going forward and progress within the company. My client is also fully supportive of anyone who currently or wishing to undergo the ACL Costs Lawyers course. The ideal Candidate will:

  • 2 to 5 years Legal Costs experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working on Case Management systems.
  • Be confident on Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel.
  • Confident and able to draft compliant bills of costs.
  • Is hard working and able to work as part of a well organised team.
