We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and lead the design and development of innovative Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions. Lead the design and development of electrical systems for 22kW AC and DC EV chargers, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct in-depth electrical calculations, power analysis, and thermal management for all EV charger components.
Select and source high-quality electrical components (power electronics, transformers, etc.) Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the charging stations.
Oversee the testing and troubleshooting of EV charger prototypes, identifying, and resolving technical issues.
Stay current on the latest advancements in EV charging technology and relevant industry standards, including IEC 61851 for both AC and DC charging.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in power electronics design.
In-depth understanding of electrical power systems, power conversion principles, control theory, and thermal management for high-power applications.
Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., Mentor, simulation tools) and power electronics design software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on achieving optimal efficiency and performance.
