We are seeking a highly experienced Network Platform Architect to join a world-leading IT services contractor, working with one of their prominent government clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network and security architecture and high-level design, providing 3rd line and subject matter expert (SME) support.

Job Title: Platform Architect - Network Platform Architect

Location: London/Leicester/Remote (flexibility to travel to client site when required, potential to be based in Leicester)

Clearance Level: Must hold active SC clearance

Start Date: December 2024

Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Network/Security Architect and High-Level Designer , reporting to or deputising for the Lead Architect as needed.
  • Provide 3rd Line Support and SME guidance on key projects.
  • Mentor and coach SMEs, delivering expert documentation and technical communication.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless platform architecture.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience as a Network/Security Architect .
  • Proven track record in High-Level Design .
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching SMEs.
  • Strong ability to deputise for the Lead Architect.

Additional Information:

  • Candidates must be open to travel as needed and flexible with working on-site in Leicester when required.
  • Active UK Security Clearance is mandatory for this role.
