DevOps/SRE Engineer
Location: London (Hybrid working available)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a passion for building and maintaining highly reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure and applications.

Utilize recent AWS experience to design, implement, and manage AWS services such as EC2, ASG, RDS, and OpenSearch for streaming big data.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
Develop and maintain deployment pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools to enable automated software delivery.
Design and implement networking solutions and security measures across multiple AWS accounts, including transit VPCs, to ensure robust and secure connectivity.
Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of systems and applications hosted on AWS through proactive monitoring, analysis, and optimization.
Utilize AWS native and third-party monitoring tools to detect issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation actions promptly.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, ASG, RDS, and OpenSearch.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles and tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
Experience building and maintaining deployment pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
Deep understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments, including transit VPCs.
Proven experience in system reliability, monitoring, and remediation using AWS native and third-party tools.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
