Ensure all vehicles & trailers are maintained in accordance with DVSA and manufacturers specifications. Ensure that best practice is always employed in relation to component replacement; repair duration; document completion. Work as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations to ensure the workshop operations achieves its objectives and targets. Maintain a clean and tidy workplace environment. To ensure that all relevant legislation and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to. Essential skills required for HGV Technician: Qualified HGV Technician up to Level 3 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and repair) or part-qualified HGV Technician up to Level 2 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and repair). HGV Class 1 CE licence beneficial. 3 years previous experience required. Intuitive diagnostic skills. Ability to carry out PMI to DVSA standards. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative. Why Gregory Distribution? Basic salary for HGV Technician is £45,186pa, 4on 4off shifts 18:00hrs 06:30hrs. OVERTIME PAID AT X 1.5 = £31.04ph, OTE - £48,414pa AND MORE PLUS: You will receive £10.00 when

on standby rota basis. For each call out you will receive £20.00 call out charge. Any hours worked on call out, you will receive £31.04ph. Overtime is available and paid hourly.
