Sales Executive Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to generate sales leads and assist in the acquisition of feedstock sources from new clients. As part of the Commercial Team the role will seek out new feedstock opportunities in specific regional locations.
The Sales Executive role will maintain strong and regular contact with an identified customer base. Report on forecasted performance and potential opportunities to enhance customer service and consequently feedstock acquisition. They will co-ordinate, establish and the account management of food round collection operations in specified locations.
The ideal candidate is a driven, client-focused sales professional to join our team in a regional role that requires frequent travel. With experience in sectors such as Retail, Food, Hospitality, or Waste Management, the ideal candidate will be skilled in deal-closing and adept at building relationships to meet both client service levels and business objectives. Key responsibilities include developing a strong network within the food industry, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining accurate business records. Strong interpersonal and numerical skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication abilities. This position requires a full UK driving license and the capability to act as an ambassador for Biogen, upholding our brand and environmental values. This is a regional role involving travel between sites, a full UK Driving Licence is required.
Having expanded its food waste recycling network through acquisition, it has a combined network of nineteen AD plants located across England, Scotland and Wales. These facilities provide cost-effective, low-carbon solutions for managing food and organic waste, transforming it into renewable energy.
Through its work with supermarkets, the hospitality industry, food manufacturers, and local authorities across the UK, Biogens AD sites recycle over half a million tonnes of food waste each year, converting it into renewable energy and nutrient-rich biofertiliser. This process contributes to a cleaner environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and lowering reliance on fossil fuels.
