Reports to: Room Leader/Nursery Manager
We've been excelling in early years since 1992, and we're opening new nurseries every year. As an Early Years Educator (Level 2/3) at Fennies, you'll build strong bonds with children and families, assist with daily routines, and use your knowledge of child development to assess progress. You'll engage respectfully with children, plan challenging activities, and document observations using Famly. You'll complete mandatory training, attend staff meetings, and need to engage in professional development opportunities to ensure high-quality practice. Building caring relationships with children, families and your team
Succeeding as a team and with children and parents by effectively communicating and giving feedback
A sound knowledge of Birth to 5 Matters, child development and the EYFS curriculum
The ability to create experiences, that engage children, motivate them and allow them to think critically
A level 2/level 3 qualification in Childcare
Have a minimum grade 4 or grade C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
To create strong bonds for each child within your room leading an effective key person system, safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality
Building those connections between you and our support functions, to ensure you feel part of our wider family and can focus on making an impact for each and every child
Providing stunning facilities to create an engaging and stimulating environment for children to learn and for your teams to inspire young learners
Communicating updates and initiatives in regular meetings to give and receive your nurseries feedback
Prioritising your well-being by offering monthly events that help you progress in your life outside of Fennies.
Staying up to date on industry news and methods and supporting your implementation of updates in the nursery.
