Our client a well-recognised professional membership body with a membership body based in the UK and internationally, is currently recruiting for an Events Coordinator. They provide policy insight, share ideas and innovation, host events and roundtable discussions and conduct original research. The Role of the Events Coordinator

The Events Coordinator develops and delivers their extensive events programme to support their members around the world and enhance engagement with members across their core countries.

Reporting to the Head of Engagement, this position focuses on the delivery of a variety of events, ranging in scale and location. These include in-person and online events, webinars, conferences, workshops, training sessions, awards ceremonies and more with the number of attendees ranging from smaller, more intimate discussions to larger scale events with up to several hundred attendees.

Work with the Head of Engagement to design annual event programmes that speak to the members needs and interests.

To lead on all aspects of internal and external event planning and delivery including:
Working with the Corporate Communications Manager to plan and deliver event marketing and communications, and upload website content for the website and social channels
Managing event budgets
Collecting event feedback and helping them to understand how they can continually improve the event programme and delivery.
Preparing event resource packs which highlight the breadth of the organisation’s resources.
Working with the Training Coordinator to support the delivery of training courses.

Experienced events organiser with excellent event management and administrative skills, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a trade association, professional body or membership body.
Experience in developing and delivering marketing campaigns to raise awareness of events
Excellent IT skills including experience with customer databases, email marketing tools, remote learning tools and event platforms, and ability to use programs such as Eventbrite, Typeform and SurveyMonkey for events management and feedback
Strong communication skills - written, face to face, virtually and on the phone
Conversant with social media platforms both for communication and for monitoring

Experience of working within a local authority
