The Bodleian Libraries at the University of Oxford is the largest university library system in the United Kingdom. It includes the principal University library – the Bodleian Library – which has been a legal deposit library for 400 years; as well as 27 libraries across Oxford. Together, the Libraries hold more than 13million printed items.Collections Management at the Bodleian is a department of over 110 staff responsible for the acquisition, management, and discovery of the Bodleian’s modern collections.
The Head of Collections Operations Transformation will be responsible for turning the Collections Management function into a centre of excellence, creating a strategy for the effective delivery of operational services; and implementing the resulting programme of business change.
This is a full time, fixed term post for 2 years.
