SEO & Metrics Analyst
Reports To Digital Director

Position Summary:

The SEO & Metrics Analyst is passionate about technology and digital communications and is responsible for analysing and identifying gaps in web content, as well as optimizing content for improved search results. They are able to identify marketing opportunities and come up with strategies to increase website traffic. Additionally, they are also responsible for compiling analytics reports and working with the Strategy team by providing useful data and insights.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities To consistently ensure the delivery of ‘great stuff’
• Carry out keyword research to support SEO growth by putting together comprehensive keyword strategies
• Plan, outline and optimise content for SEO, along with strategies for internal linking, title tags, meta descriptions and other metadata
• Outline and implement, where appropriate, external backlinking strategies
• Monitor content performance and report on analytics to improve and drive content and SEO strategy
• Monitor and report on KPIs and quickly respond to divergences
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
• Help locate and define new process improvement opportunities for SEO

Demonstrates teamwork at all times
• Work closely with the copy team to create SEO optimised content
• Work closely with the strategy team to help outline digital strategies driven by SEO keyword research and content performance metrics analysis
• Work closely with the digital team to implement development strategies to optimise builds for maximum SEO performance
• Communicates with other team members and the wider agency effectively

• Has knowledge and understanding of agency processes and how SEO and metrics analysis fits into the project scope

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
• Relevant qualifications, either university or apprenticeship
• Skilled in SEO strategy and metrics analysis
• Skilled in analytical performance reporting
• A thorough understanding of digital marketing
