We’re on the lookout for a passionate Gas Technician to become a vital part of our Workplace Solutions Team based in Gosport . Job Details Location: Willmot Lane - Gosport Hours: Permanent, Full-time - 40 hours per week (weekdays only) Your Responsibilities As a Gas Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our team to deliver both planned maintenance and reactive tasks across the Cambridgeshire County Council contract. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: Perform maintenance and reactive repairs on gas equipment, adhering to current regulations, standards, and manufacturer’s instructions. Engage in general mechanical and electrical maintenance as needed. Handle quoted work repairs and light installation tasks on gas equipment across our network of sites. Champion team wellbeing and foster an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, backgrounds, and experiences. Complete both reactive and planned maintenance tasks within agreed timescales. What We’re Looking For This role is perfect for you if you possess the following qualifications: Commercial gas qualifications in gas boilers, water heaters, tube heaters, gas air heaters, pipework, tightness testing, and purging. Certifications: COCN1; CENWAT1; CCP1; CDGA1; CORT1; TPCP1. Understanding of SFG20 and the ability to deliver works within a timescale. Preferred NVQ in Mechanical and/or Electrical to complement your gas qualifications. A full UK Driving Licence, as this is a mobile role.
