As the firm’s PR & Marketing Manager you will strategically plan, execute and oversee all non-digital marketing and PR activities and effectively promote the firm’s brand and legal services. This role is essential in creating a positive public image for Higgs LLP, building brand awareness and driving business growth. The PR & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing and PR strategies that align with the our goals and target clients.
Creating comprehensive marketing plans and strategies aligned with the Higgs’ vision and purpose. Maintaining and promoting the firm’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, collateral and communications
· Overseeing the creation of compelling content, including articles, landing pages, case studies, and social media content, that showcase the firm’s expertise and thought leadership
· Cultivating relationships with journalists, reporters, and relevant media outlets to secure media coverage for the firm, its people and significant legal cases and initiatives
· Handling potential PR crises and negative publicity, developing strategies to protect the firm’s reputation and mitigate damage
· Taking the lead in the co-ordination of Legal 500 and Chambers submissions
· Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and areas where the firm can differentiate itself
· Effectively managing the marketing and PR budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve maximum impact and return on investment
· Monitoring the performance of marketing campaigns, PR efforts, and various initiatives using relevant metrics and analytics. Preparing regular reports for the appropriate management Board(s)
· Working with the business to communicate important updates, achievements, and news internally
· Ability to be adaptable, creative, and strategic

· A solutions-oriented and enthusiastic approach to PR and marketing, able to influence and inspire other people
Ability to analyse campaign performance, interpret data and make data-driven decisions
· Strong writing and storytelling skills with a proven record of creating compelling content for press releases, blog posts, social media, email campaigns, articles and other marketing materials
· Experience of building and maintaining relationships with journalists and business partners to secure media coverage and PR opportunities
· Understanding of brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels
· Ability to confidently present marketing strategies, campaign results and brand messaging to relevant stakeholders
· Experience of conducting effective market research to identify client trends and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies
· Proficiency in managing marketing budgets and evaluating the return on investment (ROI) of various marketing initiatives
· Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, for creating and analysing email campaigns
· Understanding of video creation, editing, and promotion to leverage the power of video content in marketing efforts.
