Accelerate Teaching are working with a fantastic one form entry primary school in Castleford, and they are on the lookout for a dedicated Special Needs Support Assistant to provide invaluable one-on-one support to a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is a full-time position with an immediate start date, so if you're passionate about making a positive impact in a nurturing educational environment, we want to hear from you.

Our partner school in Castleford shares this commitment and is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team to work as a special needs support assistant on a full-time basis.

As a special needs support assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a child who has ASC, providing tailored support to meet their unique needs. Your role will involve assisting with educational and social development, ensuring that the child is fully engaged in their learning experience. You will collaborate with experienced educators and professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere to ensure that the child can reach their full education potential and help them flourish and immerse themselves in school life.

Qualifications and Skills required:

Minimum of a level 2 or 3 CACHE TA qualification or equivalent.
Experience in supporting children with special educational needs, particularly ASC, is essential to be successful in this role.
A genuine passion for helping children overcome challenges and reach their potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
