Senior Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Consultant

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with third-parties to understand and where necessary constructively challenge their configuration of Dynamics 365 F&O. Work with other vendors and partners to understand the implemented solution design to date
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to
- Gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Execute Fit/Gap workshops and create the to-be process designs aligned with the Dynamics 365 Finance Capabilities
- Analyse existing business processes and identify areas for improvement or optimisation using Dynamics 365 F&O Finance capabilities.
- Present options and solutions using Dynamics 365 F&O to business requirements and problems.
- Design functional solutions within Dynamics 365 F&O that align with the client's business processes and requirements.
- Configuration of Dynamics 365 F&O modules to meet specific business needs.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and user guides.
Enablement
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to facilitate a smooth transition to Dynamics 365 F&O and promote user adoption.
- Collaborate with testing teams to define test scenarios and validate that configured solutions meet the specified requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshoot issues, and implement resolutions to ensure the system's continuous functionality.
- Assist in change management activities, ensuring users are adequately prepared for and receptive to changes introduced by Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Work closely with technical teams, including developers and administrators, to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to project planning and estimation activities, offering insights into the functional aspects of the implementation.
- Stay abreast of the latest updates, features, and best practices related to Dynamics 365 F&O to provide informed recommendations. Act as an advocate in spreading this knowledge within the team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in implementing Dynamics 365 F&O Finance in Local Government
- Experience in the following modules and areas - General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, Project Management and Accounting.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience and you were involved in multiple Dynamics 365 implementation as a Finance process or functional consultant.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate - MB-310.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in project teams and take ownership and responsibility.
- Good understanding of accounting and finance - preferable have a background, degree or certification in this area.
- Knowledge of Surestep or Success By Design implementation methodologies.
