We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and value to our clients. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive tenders efficiently and accurately. This role requires a balance of independent work and collaboration with the commercial team, with tasks including pricing, measuring, and attending site visits. Key Responsibilities: Prepare competitive and detailed tenders in response to an increased volume of enquiries. Work both independently and collaboratively within the commercial team to complete tenders. Conduct accurate pricing and measuring tasks for various projects. Manage the tender process to ensure timely submission and adherence to deadlines. Undertake regular site visits to gather necessary information and assess project requirements. Ensure precise cost estimations for projects ranging from £200K to £7M on average, with occasional larger projects up to £98M. Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and other stakeholders to obtain relevant data and insights. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project specifications, drawings, and requirements. Utilize knowledge of external walls and rendering to enhance tender accuracy and competitiveness. Requirements: Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of pricing, measuring, and tender preparation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with the commercial team. Experience with projects involving new builds, utilities, residential houses, industrial facilities, and listed buildings. Knowledge of external walls and rendering is advantageous. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for estimating and tendering. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
