The demand for marketing services has greatly increased as Instem continues to deliver intelligent solutions that empower collaboration and life-enhancing science. A full-service model, Instem’s Marketing department is relied upon for a wide array of enablement services and is accountable for a high percentage of our lead generation volume.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and working closely with product managers, sales and business unit leaders, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for the co-ordination of marketing policy and strategy worldwide, along with the management of the marketing team to achieve business and strategic goals.
The successful candidate must be energetic, creative and up for challenge, as we look to re-define how our marketing department is structurally aligned to have the right approach to the way our markets buy and learn about our array of solutions.
Naturally we want you to be motivated by managing a portfolio that includes products and insight driven solutions, but it’s imperative that you are a natural leader and who will prioritise the management, wellbeing, performance, coaching and productivity of the marketing team.
o Creation of the strategic plans and ensuring marketing input into the business plans
o Accountable for lead development across multi-solution portfolios and helping guide revenue attribution approaches for marketing-generated leads
o Management of individual Marketing staff to achieve Marketing objectives
o Prioritisation of Marketing activities to ensure that Company potential is maximised
o Consolidated Marketing reporting to the Company Board and to staff within the company
o Ensuring appropriate assistance is provided by Marketing to other departments
o Representing the needs of the Marketing team in discussions with other departments
o Management of Human Resources (resource planning, recruitment, appraisal and staff development & training)
o Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently
o Extensive exposure of Marketing leadership in the Life Sciences / Science market space
o Demonstrable experience of leading a marketing group that is responsible for positioning a solution portfolio of 10 or more products/services.
