Estimator – Facades and Re-cladding – Hybrid Working
A Well-known London mid-sized Building Contractor, specialising in Build, Refurbishment and Maintenance projects, who have formed a specialist Cladding division, working in partnership with various housing associations on government funded re-cladding schemes and are currently thriving in that market, being one of London’s busiest Re-cladding specialists, rectifying housing developments in and around the city with non-combustible / firesafe insulations and cladding systems.
My client has expanded their project portfolio for 2023 / 2024 with some impressive wins, ranging from complex recladding schemes acting as a main contractor and prestigious new build contracts acting as envelope contractor and are looking to expand their Pre-construction Team and are recruiting for an Estimator.
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
* Performing risk and value management and cost control
* Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
* Allocating work to subcontractors
To be successful all applicants must have worked for a rival facade subcontractor in the UK. In addition to this, the business will only consider applicants that have façade experience including Curtain Walling Light-Weight Steel Framing Systems, Render, Brick Slips & External Wall Insulation Systems and Cladding. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to programmes and deadlines, be flexible to adapt to change and have a keen eye for quality. The successful applicant will show proven experience within a façade contractor.
Salary will be agreed with each individual on a case by case basis depending on previous experience. All reasonable travel expenses will be included and you will receive a company works package
