Working as a Vehicle Mechanic / Motor Vehicle Technician you will not only have a passion for automotive mechanics, but also a strong desire to deliver a first-class service to customers. As a Vehicle Mechanic / Motor Vehicle Technician you will join an established Garage that has a 6 ramp workshop, including an ATM MOT Test Bay. DUTIES Your duties as a Vehicle Mechanic / Motor Vehicle Technician include: Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment Repair and replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, tyres, brakes, exhausts, clutches, cambelt changes, servicing and suspension systems Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and provide accurate repair estimates to customers Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends MOT testing (if qualified) CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Previous industry experience Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment Solid understanding of automotive systems and components Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach A full drivers licence and your own tools HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
