Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will bring experience and expertise in the following areas, contributing to the performance design, specification, and management of electrical services installations across various projects, from high-end residential to commercial office fit-outs and plant/asset replacements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Specification: Develop performance designs and specifications for electrical services installations, including high-end residential, office fit-outs, and plant/asset replacements.

• Surveying and Reporting: Conduct surveys of electrical services installations and compile comprehensive technical reports, including pre-acquisition, condition, lifecycle, licence to alter/dilapidations, capital expenditure, and plant/asset replacement assessments.

• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a broad understanding and practical experience in electrical services and fire & security systems, including relevant British Standards. Address and resolve design, operational/maintenance, and statutory compliance issues.

• Client and Contractor Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and contractors, ensuring clear and professional exchanges.

• Report Writing: Produce high-quality written reports with attention to detail and clarity.

• Time Management: Manage your own diary, prioritise workload, and meet agreed delivery deadlines independently.

• Team Collaboration: Work comfortably both independently and within a small team, including managing external support consultants.

• Project Meetings: Represent the company and chair small-scale project and site meetings as needed.

• Maintenance Contracts: Engage with a portfolio of sites, overseeing various types of maintenance contracts (prior experience with maintenance contracts is not required).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the performance design and specification of electrical service installations.

• Strong experience in surveying electrical installations and compiling technical reports.

• Understanding of Electrical Services and Fire & Security Systems.

• Experienced in working on MEP projects

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

• Strong time management and workload prioritisation abilities.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office365.
