Agricultural Lecturer

The Agricultural Engineering and Agriculture department is located at Coleg Glynllifon. Students study full-time level 2 and 3 courses with the possibility of completing an apprenticeship with a suitable employer. These tasks follow a scheme of work that develops during term time to establish students' competence so they meet the requirements of the course.
Driving farm machinery (tractor/Telehandler)
?Work with livestock - dosing, weighing, sorting, lambs, calves.
?Farm equipment maintenance - Tractor, telehandler, round baler, manure spreader, fertilizer spreader
?Estate maintenance work - fencing, walling, installing gates.
The Practical Skills Supervisor will be asked to contribute to a range of these activities depending on expertise and experience.
