Due to expansion in the team, we are looking for a Weldmar Counsellor to join our organisation.

You will be an integral part of our Patient & Family Support Service, providing high quality, psychological, and emotional support to our patients, their families, and their carers to help support them individually.

You’ll be encouraged to work creatively and responsively, utilising all of your professional skills to provide support that encourages communication, both pre and post bereavement.

You’ll also play a role in helping to develop the service, ensuring that Weldmar provides the highest possible standard and quality care for adults affected by life limiting illness.

The successful candidate would need a first degree and a post graduate diploma in counselling as a minimum in addition to an in depth knowledge of counselling theory and research.

We would also ask that you have an accreditation with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy or other relevant body.
