Primary Behavioural Teaching Assistant

Have the dedication and skills to help children and young people overcome behavioural challenges and achieve their full potential?
Interested in a daily rate of £83.If the answer is YES, then we may just have the perfect role for you as a Teaching Assistant within the Johnstown area.

Provide one-on-one support to pupils with behavioural challenges (Primary Age)
Going into the community with pupils to promote independent living and life skills.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualised behaviour plans.
Encourage and motivate students to reach their academic and behavioural goals.
Hold a valid driving licence with access to own vehicle.
Have a keen interest in physical activities and will be confident in taking pupils outside to engage them in physical activities.
Experience of supporting children or young adults with challenging behaviour.
Excellent knowledge of Autism.
Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
