Treasury Finance Manager

Midlands based regional bank, small yet fast growing, who pride itself as a socially conscious bank, with a double bottom line strategy to make profit purposively, have an opportunity in their Finance team to take on a role that will help build out their finance support to the banks treasury function. This bank offers flexibility with the split between home/office work hours.
- Responsible for the provision of accurate and timely financial information for submission to the Financial Controller. Provide treasury technical accounting support including IFRS 9 impairment and hedge accounting. Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and KPIs. Working with other members of the Finance department to maintain and develop all aspects of the Bank’s financial and management accounting processes and related controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Ideally hold an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA. CIMA)
- Knowledge of technical accounting standards around IFRS9, IAS39 and conversant with hedge accounting principles
- Demonstrable experience in preparing and developing management information, including Board packs related to financial performance
- Ability to ensure compliance with accounting standards and carry out forward looking horizon scanning
- Familiar with data requirements for a banks successful deliver of annual ICAAP, ILAA & RRP’s
- Provide input to the finance process to continually seek improvement and ensure all procedures maintained and reviewed regularly for processes under your control
- Ability to mentor more junior members of the finance team
