As a Team Lead – New Business Operations, you will manage the completions team and oversee the efficient progression of credit-approved deals through to drawdown. You will drive team performance, execution excellence, and high-quality service delivery, ensuring SLAs are met and customer outcomes consistently exceed expectations. Lead the completions team, ensuring timely and accurate progression of deals from credit approval to drawdown.
Drive team performance against SLAs and KPIs, maintaining a high-energy, execution-focused culture.
Ensure strong collaboration with Lending Managers, Underwriters, Legal, and Compliance to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Manage relationships with solicitors and valuers, ensuring service quality and adherence to SLAs.
Oversee the completion of KYC and AML checks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
Complete credit searches and manage the team responsible for loan data entry.
Support testing and enhancement of operational systems.
Ensure all activities are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Corporate Responsibilities
Read and follow all relevant company policies and procedures.
Adhere to all risk-related responsibilities applicable to your role, as set out in the Risk Management Policy.
Abide by all compliance and financial crime-related policies, procedures, and reporting obligations applicable to your role.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in financial services, with strong knowledge of lending products—preferably bridging—and end-to-end onboarding processes.
Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving team performance and achieving operational targets.
Strong knowledge of KYC and AML requirements and their practical application in a lending environment.
Demonstrated experience managing third-party relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Proficient in using operational systems and technology to manage workflows, maintain data integrity, and support reporting.
High energy, execution-focused, and adaptable to a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with nCino or comparable workflow and loan management platforms is advantageous.
