Have you got a passion for Geography? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to cover maternity leave at a school in Aberdare. Starting in September, you'll be teaching Geography and occasionally other parts of the Humanities department for the duration of the academic year

Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach engaging Geography lessons, inspiring students across different age groups and abilities.
• Get creative with teaching strategies to encourage critical thinking and curiosity about the world.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and supported.
• Work with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialization or strong background in Geography and Humanities-related subjects.
• Experience teaching Geography at various levels.
• Passion for education and inspiring students.
• Good communication skills and ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
• Current Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.*
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
